Celebrating Our Oceans

Celebrating Our Oceans
June 8th is World Oceans Day!

This month we’re hooked on bringing attention to this lesser known, but just as cool, cousin of Earth Day. World Oceans Day is a global awareness project started in 2002 thanks to the suggestion of the Government of Canada. It’s making a big splash, eh?

“The sea, the great unifier, is man’s only hope. Now, as never before, the old phrase has a literal meaning: we are all in the same boat.”

-Jacques Cousteau

Team Space Dolphin visited Belize this month and we were blown away by the beauty of the vast world below the surface. We saw an incredible amount of sea life and learned about the importance and necessity of conservation efforts to keep our oceans flowing beautifully.

Zen out to our compilation of the the magical lands we saw underwater. Maybe you’ll even be inspired to book an ocean adventure for yourself!
